Coaching in internal negotiation. Frameworks from my books applied to your life.
The hardest conflicts aren't external. They're the ones happening inside.
I work with people who are negotiating internal wars—whether you're a PhD student wrestling with cultural displacement and imposter syndrome, moving through grief, learning to speak with precision in English, or discovering the cathartic power of structured journaling. These aren't separate problems. They're all forms of internal negotiation.
My two books, Your Civil War Within and Treaties with the Dead, map this territory. The frameworks in them—how to negotiate with the voices that hold you back, how to build treaties instead of seeking false peace—form the foundation of all my coaching work.
Over 30 years, I've learned one thing: the ones who navigate these conflicts successfully aren't the ones who try to "heal" or "overcome." They're the ones who negotiate. Who build treaties with what they carry.
That's what I help you do.
A note on neurodiversity: Many of my clients are neurodivergent—ADHD, autistic, or both. If that's you, you already know that internal negotiation looks different in a neurodivergent brain. I work with that reality, not against it. The frameworks in my books speak directly to the internal conflicts neurodivergent people face.
My clients come from all over the world—China, Japan, Brazil, the UK, and beyond. My approach is shaped by thirty years in global peacebuilding: the Balkans, Northern Ireland, South America, Southeast Asia. I bring that same lens to coaching—helping people navigate cultural difference, work through emotions from the past, and build everyday confidence.
I'm not here to fix or cure you. You already have the answers inside you—my job is to help you find them.
Before coaching, try the method yourself. These two guided tools walk you through the same framework I use with clients — at your own pace, on your own terms. Many people start here, then bring what they find into a coaching conversation.
