A confidential conversation
Usually around an hour, one to one, off the record. One session — not the first step of something you'll be sold later.
You run things well. That's the problem — nobody thinks to check on the person who is still delivering.
You are the one people rely on. The respected surgeon, the senior director, the person everyone else brings their problems to. The armour and the burden tend to be the same size, and no one asks how you are carrying it — least of all the people who need something from you.
What this is
It isn't coaching and it isn't therapy. It's one honest conversation with someone who has spent thirty years in rooms where people could not say what was actually happening — Northern Ireland, Kosovo, Colombia, and a good many ordinary offices since. I know the difference between managing a situation and needing, at last, to say the real thing out loud.
What happens
You bring what's actually going on. There is no programme, no follow-up sequence, no assumption that you need fixing. I'm not here to cure you or correct you. One conversation, on your terms — not a funnel.
What stays here
Nothing is kept on file afterwards. What is said in the conversation stays in the conversation. Some things you are trusted with, you carry to the end — that has always been how I work, and it is not going to change now.
